Abstract

After the Nazis seized power in 1933, Hitler created the Ministry of Propaganda and Public Education, headed by Joseph Goebbels. The mission of the ministry was to introduce Nazi ideas to the masses through art, music, theater, film, books, radio, textbooks, and the press. The films played an important role in the spread of racial anti-Semitism, which was the most important task of the German military authorities, since the Jews were defined by Nazi ideology - evil as slavery to the share of evil and the whole nation as obedience to punishment, which was an excuse for contempt, the films produced by the Nazis portrayed Jews as "inhuman" beings., who penetrated the Aryan race. For example, the 1940 film The Eternal Jew, directed by Fritz Hepler, portrays the Semitic race as wandering cultural parasites obsessed with sex and money.

Some films, such as Leni Riefenstahl's Triumph of the Will (1935), glorified the National Socialist movement and Hitler himself.

It is difficult to create the face of the "beloved Führer" for history and future generations. For many years, Leni Riefenstahl (full name Bertha Helene Amal) became a symbol of the "triumph" of the Nazi ideology.

The picture has been called a classic propaganda film and is still banned in many countries today for fear that the film may instill in viewers ideas of fascism and sympathy for Hitler. After the end of the Second World War, for the film "Triumph of the Will", its director Leni Riefenstahl was tried twice. He was sentenced to 4 years in prison for participating in fascist propaganda.

In the film, we see the events of the Congress in chronological order. Heroes - Adolf Hitler, Heinrich Himmler, Otto Dietrich, Joseph Goebbels, Sepp Dietrich, Rudolf Hess, Hermann Göring, Jacob Grimminger and other representatives of the National Socialist Workers' Party, as well as German soldiers and residents of Nuremberg. Adolf Hitler is presented in the film as a great man who is loved and respected by Germans.
