Abstract

Here are given the Georgian translations of Mursili II’s (ca. 1346-1320 BC) two texts about his own campaigns - "Ten-year" and "Extensive" annals.  He was one of the distinguished kings of the Hittite Empire. "Ten-year annals" cover the first ten years of the king's reign, and "extensive annals" - the entire reign. The texts are interesting, both stylistically and contentualy, since they tell us the greatest part of the history of the Hittite Empire.
