PROBLEMS OF PUBLIC FINANCE MANAGEMENT IN GEORGIA UNDER COVID-19
Abstract
Nothing has affected the world so much as the pandemic that spread in 2019. The impact of COVID-19 on the socio-economic and political situation of the country is invaluable and it will probably take years to recover from the negative impact caused by the restrictions imposed by the pandemic. The aim of the study is to identify problems in the field of public financial management under COVID-19 and to find ways to overcome them, prioritizing social and economic problems. Economic losses are especially great for countries whose revenues depend on exports and tourism. Unfortunately, Georgia is among the countries whose economy and its incomes depend on tourism. Given the current situation, measures to curb the management and spread of COVID-19 are likely to continue, and there is no anticipation plan for economic recovery, although the government is trying to act in a timely manner under the anti-crisis plan.
