The editorial Board of the journal “Economics, Business and Administration” adheres to the principles of publication ethics adopted by the international community as reflected in the recommendations Of the Committee on Publication Ethics.

In order to avoid unfair practices in publishing activities (plagiarism, presentation of false information, etc.), in order to ensure high quality of scientific publications, public recognition of the author's scientific results, each member of the Editorial Board, author, reviewer, the publisher must comply with ethical standards, norms and rules and take all reasonable measures to prevent their violations.

Responsibilities of the editor

The editor undertakes to:

- constantly improve the journal;

- follow the principle of academic freedom;

- strive to meet the needs of readers and authors of the journal;

- make decisions based on the principle of fairness and impartiality; ensure transparency of editorial activity at all its stages;

- do not disclose information about submitted materials to anyone other than the relevant authors, reviewers, and other editorial consultants;

- evaluate manuscripts solely based on their scientific content, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnicity, citizenship, or political views of the authors;

- make a decision about publishing materials based on the following main criteria: compliance of the manuscript with the journal's subject matter; relevance, novelty, and scientific significance of the submitted article; clarity of presentation; reliability of results and completeness of conclusions. The quality of the research and its relevance are the basis for the decision to publish it;

- take all reasonable measures to ensure the high quality of published materials and protect the confidentiality of personal information. If any content, grammatical, stylistic or other errors are found, the editorial Board undertakes to take all measures to eliminate them;

- take into account the recommendations of reviewers when making a final decision on the publication of the article. The editorial Board of the journal is fully responsible for the decision to publish;

- justify your decision in case of acceptance or rejection of the article;

- provide the author of the reviewed material with an opportunity to justify their research position;

opportunity to present the point of view of opponents;

- do not use information from unpublished materials in your own research.

Author responsibilities

When submitting materials to the journal “Economics, Business and Administration” authors are obliged to:

- submit only original works;

- in the presence of text or graphic information from previously published research by the author or from the work of another researcher, refer to the relevant publications or submit written permission to use these materials. The presence of a loan without a link will be considered as plagiarism by the editorial Board;

- provide only authentic facts and information in the manuscript; do not use information obtained in private, without open written permission; do not allow falsification of data;

- avoid duplication of publications (in the cover letter, the author must indicate that the work is published for the first time). If certain elements of the manuscript were previously published, the author must refer to earlier work and indicate the differences between the new work and the previous one. Submitting a manuscript to more than one journal at a time is unethical;

- immediately notify the Editorial Board or the publisher of the journal of the discovery of a significant error in the published work;

- provide the editorial Board or publisher with proof of the correctness of the original article or correct significant errors if the editorial Board or publisher became aware of them from third parties;

- specify all authors of the material.


Reviewer's responsibilities

The reviewer participating in the expert evaluation of materials submitted for publication in the journal “Economics, Business and Administration” undertakes:

- make objective decisions;

- maintain confidentiality.

- do not use the information obtained during the review for personal gain;

- inform the editor-in-chief and refuse to review the manuscript if, in the opinion of the reviewer, his / her qualifications are not sufficient to review the material submitted for review, or if there may be a violation of the deadline for reviewing the manuscript;

- make decisions based on specific facts and provide evidence of their decision;.

- assist the author in improving the quality of the article;

- do not use the materials of an unpublished manuscript in your own research.


Conflict of interest

In order to avoid cases of violation of publication ethics, it is necessary to exclude the conflict of interests of all parties involved in the process of publishing the manuscript. In order to prevent conflicts of interest and in accordance with the accepted ethical standards of the journal, each of the parties has the following responsibilities.

 The editor must: - submit the manuscript for review to another member of the Editorial Board if the originally appointed reviewer has a conflict of interest with the author of the submitted manuscript;

- make a decision to publish the information specified in the author's letter concerning the conflict of scientific and/or financial interests, if it is not confidential and may affect the evaluation of the published work by the reader or the scientific community;

- ensure publication of amendments if information about the conflict of interest was received after the publication of the article.

The author must: - list in the cover letter known and potential sources of conflict of interest;

- specify the place of work and the source of funding for the study;

- if there is no conflict of interest – clearly state this in the cover letter.

The reviewer must: - inform the editor-in-chief about the presence of a conflict of interest (dual obligations, competing interests) and refuse to examine the manuscript.



If there is a situation related to a violation of publication ethics on the part of the editor, author, or reviewer, the Editorial Board of the journal will investigate. This applies to both published and unpublished materials from the moment the document is published. The Editorial Board will require clarification, without involving persons who may have a conflict of interest with one of the parties.

Complaints of ethical violations can be caused by incorrect borrowing someone else's text and plagiarism (borrowing the content and conclusions without a verbatim repetition of someone else's text), duplication of publications, the inclusion of unreliable or false data in the body of published work, incorrect indication of authors ' contribution to the common work and other violations.

If the editor-in-chief recognizes that there has been a violation of the principles of publication ethics, the journal will perform the following corrective actions (in order of severity of the violation):

- refuse to publish the author's manuscript;

- publish notifications about the violation correction in the next issue of the journal;

- make corrections to the published material in a form accessible to readers and indexing systems;

- introduce a ban on the publication of the author's materials in the journal for a period of 36 months;

- refuses further cooperation within the Editorial Board;

- publish an editorial about the ethical issues raised by the complaint;

- formally delete the material from the journal (deleting the text of the article from the journal's website) in case of violation of confidentiality or causing serious harm to a third party;

All sanctions are accepted by the editor-in-chief only after a thorough examination of the claim and an objective and fair decision. In cases where violations are particularly egregious, the publisher and editor-in-chief reserve the right to impose additional sanctions in addition to those described above.
