Abstract
Ivane Javakhishvili considered Nikoloz Gulaberisdze's work "Reading the column alive, the a Robe of the Lord and the Universal Church" as a work reflecting philosophical and theological teachings and expressed important views about the purpose of the works, the philosophy of history and aesthetic views, which he discussed and showed the similarities between them based on a comparison with Byzantine writing. the difference He drew attention to Nikoloz Katalikos' point of view that Georgians did not have the habit of philosophical thinking and creativity, scientific investigation. Therefore, according to Ivane Javakhishvili, Nikoloz Gulaberisdze's work is a novelty, because Nikoloz himself considered his above-mentioned work to be "the Wisdom of art" and presented it to the readers. The scientist also noted that Kathalikos prefers philosophical discussion, wisdom rather than talking about various historical issues, he also noted that his writings are not ordered, "one story after another". In the work of Ivane Javakhishvili, attention is focused on the important problems for Georgians posed in the "Question". He looked for the philosophical foundations of such terms as "mental description", "search", "investigation", "searching" verified in the writings of Nikoloz Gulaberisdze, which are needed to define the scope and importance of St. Nino's work in Georgia. The historical, philosophical and theological issues raised in Nikoloz Gulaberisdze's writings are discussed and evaluated by Ivane Javakhishvili as a single system, using which Nikoloz intended to fill the shortcoming that Georgians had compared to other nations, in particular, Greeks. The main goal of Ivane Javakhishvili's article was to show the face of Nikoloz Gulaberisdze as a historian, philosopher, a deep connoisseur of church history, and to determine the importance of these views, the discussion of which led to the conclusion that Nikoloz had the ability and talent for observation and deep thinking. However, he did not consider his writings to be the full expression of his talent and noted with disappointment that he could have done more, which is based on the discussion at the beginning of his writings on philosophy, aesthetics, church history, and the philosophy of history.
Ivane Javakhishvili's assessment of the historical-philosophical and aesthetic value of Nikoloz Gulaberisdze's works is discussed in detail in the report.
