Translations play an important role in the relationship between peoples. The existence of the modern world is, in fact, unthinkable without translation, it has encompassed almost all spheres of human activity, and it is becoming increasingly clear that international contacts are unthinkable without translation, be it written or oral translation.

This paper presents an extraordinary study of the fundamental work of the eminent 19th century German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche ("The Birth of Tragedy from the Soul of Music"), which aims to show the difficulties encountered in the translation process.
